Our past
In 2005 Licensed Professional Counselor and Family Matters founder Molly McCue began working with the late Dr. Bryan Warren, a well-respected local psychiatrist in downtown St Marys, GA — initially just one day a week. In December 2006 Molly moved Family Matters to a separate, full-time office.
In 2007, local demand led Molly to add a second therapist, and later that year the practice incorporated as Family Matters of Coastal Georgia, Inc. From 2007 to 2009 it added several more providers and moved to 605 Osborne Street.
"FMCG started as a single-practitioner private practice, but it soon became apparent that our community would be best served through a wide-ranging array of comprehensive techniques and specializations... We understood right from the beginning that we needed to offer a variety of services and we were not willing to compromise on the quality of care being provided!" — Molly McCue, LPC & Founder
Our present
In June 2022, after the pandemic, FMCG moved to its current home at 88 Lindsey Lane in St. Marys. Molly serves as operator and manager of FMCG as well as Camden Behavioral Wellness. Both organisations continue to grow.
Our future
Our therapists use a client-centred approach, working collaboratively to identify goals and develop a customised treatment plan, with a strong emphasis on a trusting therapeutic relationship.
